John is a vice president and principal-in-charge of electrical engineering and quality control for Larson Binkley. He has more than 25 years of professional electrical engineering design and construction experience and has received many lighting and design awards. Prior to joining Larson Binkley, John served in lead roles at a consulting engineering firm, an electrical contracting firm and a combined architectural and engineering firm. He is particularly proud to have done the engineering design for One Kansas City Place, the tallest building in Kansas City. John has a B.S. degree in electrical engineering from the University of Missouri-Rolla and an M.B.A. from the University of Kansas. He is a licensed engineer in 25 states.
